People expected me to be reading books and writing novels and studying molecular biology when I was still learning to talk. Maybe that's an exaggeration, but people figured I was just... slow for my age, because I looked older than i was.

ReplyDeleteI got the same thing. I'm 1.90 meters, which is almost 6'3. It turns out I'm the only person in my family who is tall, which bothers my older brother a lot. But when I a pre-teen people had strange expectations. Come to think of it they still do:-)
